Im extremely feeling the upcoming H&M season. However some of the pieces are on the wack end of the scale. The two looks above stand out in my eyes, and seem to be the most universal. After watching project runway, I'm convinced that it is important to create staples. My top picks: The crewneck "sweater shirt" (high end cough cough) and the Coat.

Battlefield
Im currently stuck on this one. I want a new pair of sunglasses. As you can tell they both are extremely similar. But the pricing isnt. One frame is made by grey ant, while the one pharell is rocking is by fashion powerhouse Lanvin. Lord help me! Fortunately a little bird in the skye told me where i could possibly find them. Which one do you approve? The Lanvin or the Grey ant?

( Photography and Video by Tone)
Brother Phil chats with Tone about some things ( watch the video to catch my drift) and there's a TINY! hint about the "club". I think what Tone is doing is super fresh. His places is like a giant photobooth and I'm a fan of the work. Since I'm really going to take off with my photo's I'm really paying attention to different styles and examples of the media form. It is not to be played with!
Grab Bag #1
This bad boy here is a X-Mini speaker. I found this on the N.E.R.D blog and did some research. As you can tell this isnt the biggest piece of equipment in the world, but from the reviews ive read they pump. Hopefully ill be placing my order in soon, i might cop two of them. Unfortunately their official site is currently down. If i cop ill post some more info on them.

Diddy Bop
Nothin has changed with Diddy. I really like this song, even though they were harlem shakin the whole thing through.
Books!
Today i stayed home from school, and went crazy! I did a master sweep of the sea of nonsense in my topcloset. I threw everything out and grabbed a trash bag and went in. I was amazed to come across half the things that i did, old prehistoric drawings before "High End" was High End.
If you follow me semi-often, you know that i LOVE to read things that i find interesting, like complex. Here is visual proof that im not new to this, check those dates on those young magazines. There are more but i didnt dig them up. All of those were located on my desk next to my old computer. I find complex to be helpful, informative, and comical. Then next on my list of things are two Bibles. The first one is the Street-wear guide and the second is the Teen Vogue Handbook. Both are extremely helpful in two areas i would like to occupy. So this was a little book club post to let you know what im reading. Ill keep you posted.

The Commonwealth.
So this weekend was definitely interesting. I didn't do shit friday or saturday, But sunday, lovely sunday. I had a photo-shoot! (Yay) So I packed up my goods and headed towards the fairfax district. Before everything began i made sure i made my stop to Yogurt-Land. Me and my mom make trips here religiously. If we pass it or even sense it we stop!
(Heaven in a cup,my deadly mixture from yogurt-land, taken with canon xsi)
It was a beautiful day, but that never takes away from the random things that happen in sunny Los Angeles. As i was sitting in my car waiting for a friend to begin the shoot, i see Common drive by. Im like wait. . is that Common. Turns out it was him and he stopped by the park to catch up on some basketball. Aside from this appearance there were many other things at this park, and finally "she" showed up for the shoot.
(Shots from the shoot, "Senior Portraits")
We spent some time wondering around the park laughing and shooting. To me the photographs turned out really nice. It was a very random and diverse park. We even received another special guest appearance from a friend. As we began to wrap up the shoot a random kid showed up to our table. He explained his situation and that he was in rehab and only wanted to call his girl friend. When he originally asked i was shocked and didn't pay attention. We let him use a phone and some what listening to his convo since he was sitting right by us. I began to feel a little bad for him. He is from the east coast and is down here, i think he might have a interesting story to tell.
Finally the work was done! we wrapped the shoot and i began to move forward to my next adventure. We parted ways and i then convinced my mom to take me to the grove. Mind you this was my first time out in public eye with the "new" camera. I stepped out the car and went into the grove, where i was treated like a paper-razzi. I have never received that type of vibe.

I received slanted eyes as i made way to the bookstore. Is that to much to ask for? A simple book from the bookstore. Once inside, you know the world didn't want me to have the book so it took like five hours but i finally got it! The book is by teen vogue and it has a spread on professional photographers in the industry. I've been shuffling through it and its pretty damn good. There was my WHOLE sunday.
